Oh, and did I mention that those loons are also expanding their athlete team to support winter sports? In addition to all the amazing surfers, climbers, boaters,  wake boarders and musicians already in the Sanuk family, we’ve got a couple new members in the crew. Guys like Jeremy Jones, Chris Benchetler, and Forrest Shearer.

I know what you’re thinking “Guys, this is great and all, and my feet will be happy, but if we’re really going to make the register sing and spread the joy, we’re going to have to let folks know. I mean, what’s your blog readership? Two?”

Glad you asked (but you could have been nicer about it). To make sure to spread the happiness far and wide, Sanuk will be doubling down in the publications we currently advertise in (Surf mags, Outside, Rock & Ice), and adding a few others to reach new customers (Nylon, Rolling Stone, Men’s Health, etc.). They’ll be boosting the television ad coverage on Comedy Central, MTV and Fuel as well.

And there’s more. A lot more. I mean, I haven’t even touched on the new summer and back to school styles that are coming. Buckle up, folks, it’s going to be a huge year for your Sanuk business.

Redline Sports Group has a new website (See? It’s right there. No, a little further over. Yeah, right there).

This Spring, in addition to driving around the region checking in on our accounts, Redline Sports Group has been up to our elbows in bits, bytes, and other techy stuff we know little about in order to better serve our retail partners.

We’ve chucked our old website, with it’s out of date brand portfolio, incorrect contact information, and blog that never, ever, was going to be “Coming Soon,” and replaced it with this, a brand spanking new web site that’s bound to impress you so much you’ll completely forget why you’re there. That’s right, this web site is very bleeding edge, with all sorts of cool stuff that you’ve probably never even heard of before. Here goes:

1. A blog right here on the Home Page. In the future this will sometimes have interesting stuff on it. Sometimes not. If you have comments you’d like to leave about how interesting/uninteresting something we post is, or just to correct spelling and grammatical errors, you can. We trust you (well, most of you) to keep it clean.
2. A Home page. You probably already guessed this when reading #1, but we don’t want to be presumptive.
3. An About page. No, this isn’t like eHow, or Wiki-anything, it’s just a little info on the crew here at Redline Sports Group. What? You feel like you already know too much? We understand.
4. A Brands page, where there’s a little info and you can link to the actual web sites of any brand we represent.
5. A Links page. This page contains links to helpful resources, blogs we like, things we like, blogs about things we like, people we like, or whatever we feel like, really.  It’s super anemic right now, which doesn’t mean we don’t like or find anything useful, it’s just that we’re pretty busy, so if you have a cool site you’d like to recommend, we’ll consider it. No promises, though.
6. A Contact page. This is a good page to go to if you’d like to contact us for anything and can’t seem to find our email, skype, phone number, so you can send us a link so that our “Links” page has a few on it and doesn’t feel so lonely.
7. A Dealer Login page.  This is where the site actually becomes pretty useful for you. The Dealer Login page has all sorts of neat stuff:

• A show calendar that will allow you to go in and pick an open meeting time, rather than the normal five email and two phone calls it takes to schedule trade show appointments
• Up-to-date order forms
• Credit apps
• Links to e-catalogs
• Links to logos and product images
• And much, much more! (Or maybe that’s it. Tough to remember.)

To access the dealer login page, you’ll need a username and password, so please email us and we’ll get you that info. We can’t have the general public mucking around back there.

We hope you like the new site, and find it useful, and tell all your friends, and start a fan page on Facebook for it, and throw us a ticker tape parade, but at the very least we hope you find something in here that you can use to justify the effort.
